Welcome to Sunset Lake Retreat, your perfect lake house getaway for families and friends. This entire waterfront home offers space, comfort, and unbeatable outdoor living, complete with a private dock, kayaks, and a NEW optional Lowe Tritoon boat rental exclusively for guests.

Inside, the home features 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, with all bedrooms located upstairs and the kitchen and main living area on the main floor. The kitchen is fully stocked with guest cooking essentials and includes a Nespresso machine (uses the smaller pods). A dedicated work-from-home desk area is located just off the main living space.

The living room opens to a spacious upper deck through two large sliding doors, creating seamless indoor-outdoor living. Enjoy lake views while grilling on either the charcoal grill or the Weber gas grill. String lights illuminate the deck for relaxing evenings, and a lower deck with a gas fire pit provides the perfect spot to unwind after sunset. Inside, cozy up by the wood-burning fireplace.

Down at the dock, you’ll find two boat slips, including a larger 30-foot slip that allows side-docking for guest boats. A swimming platform, Maui mat, two kayaks, and several inflatables are available for guest use. The dock is lighted, making evening fishing and lakeside relaxation easy and enjoyable.

This home is pet-friendly (up to two pets with a pet fee), infant and toddler friendly with a pack-n-play, high chair, toys, and utensils, and stocked with board games for family nights. The home accommodates a maximum of 8 guests.

Located close to the strip, grocery stores, restaurants, mini golf, go-karts, and a winery, Sunset Lake Retreat offers both peaceful lake living and easy access to entertainment.

Joe’s place was really great. The weather was wonderful, so we spent a lot of time outside on the deck and on the dock fishing - although we didn’t use the boats or kayaks, the outside place is amazing! The house was just as described and it has plenty of room. Right at the end of the road, the location of the house was great too. It’s on a really nice part of the lake too, great views, deep clear water and the boat traffic was not overwhelming like it is on some parts of the lake. Joe was very responsive throughout our stay, he would respond within minutes to any questions we had. We had an outstanding time staying here and this place will definitely be on our return list - Thanks Joe!

Joes place had everything you need to have a great time at the Lake. He had Kayaks and a beautiful dock you can swim off of. Very nice Cove. The only thing that was difficult was the drive down the gravel part of the driveway. It's not bad, just the loose gravel going up and down. It is a great place to stay.

Host Very Responsive, Excellent Communication & Very Helpful. Place was Clean & Comfortable. I would most definitely stay there again. The Views of the Lake was Peaceful & Therapeutic. I Enjoyed the Local Restaurants (Baxter’s & JB Hooks) that was suggested by Host. Great Choices. Thank You. I would say you may need 4x4 for Gravel Road n the winter if Snow or extreme cold weather. Also Bring your own Iron if you plan on Getting out and don’t want wrinkles.

We had an absolutely amazing time staying here. We stayed with our kids and our dog, and we rented the pontoon for one day. Joe was very helpful the entire stay and super responsive with questions. The house is stocked with everything you'll need for your stay, and grocery stores close by. We fished off the dock and caught tons of bluegill and sunfish. We caught a 20lb flathead catfish off of the pontoon boat down the lake. It's extremely quiet here and so peaceful. The beds were very comfortable and everything was super clean, with extra blankets and towels. We made so many family memories here and can't wait to come back in the Spring! Make sure you try Pops ice cream shop 11 mins away! Lots to do nearby and cool souvenir shops. This was our favorite place to stay in the Ozarks. Thank you Joe!!!

We enjoyed staying at the place. The location on the lake gave us some great sunset views. Definately recommend. Only consideration would be for those that do not get around well. The driveway was sloped and gravel (we stayed in the fall and the leaves were starting to cover the driveway) and the steps were uneven getting to the walkway. We took advantage of the optional pontoon rental and enjoyed a day cruising around the lake. Would strongly consider staying again if we decide to stay in the area.

Got the best sleep ever at Joe's place. The king bed and pillows are so comfortable we had a hard time getting up in the morning we were so cozy. unfortunately, it was too cold to properly enjoy the lake but there are a lot of local restaurants and bars nearby we tried. The house is also near Starks Caverns which was a cool adventure. We will definitely come back in the summer time to do some fishing and boating.

Thank you for sharing your place with us, we are extremely thankful, unfortunately the night before check out there was a winter storm and we didn’t even think about parking the suv elsewhere, there’s a couple of hills on the way out and we couldn’t make it up. Such a beautiful and peaceful getaway. 3 gals, friends of 55 years, celebrating our 61st birthdays. During the day, we went to the many nearby restaurants and bars.
